Holding a master’s degree in computer science, he earned a Ph.D. in economic sciences in 2008. Early in his career, he worked in both mobile and fixed-line telecommunications companies, where he was among the first in the country to be responsible for the security of information systems and technological risk. Later, he contributed to Andersen and Ernst & Young, where he developed technological consulting in the country and the Central and Eastern Europe region. From 2007, within EMEIA structures (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India), he led the center of competence for new technologies, and from 2014, he was the leader of the practice of new technologies, becoming the global leader of digitalization and new technologies at EY, growing it from scratch to over $1 billion and a team of more than 12,000 consultants worldwide.
His experience spans technology and business strategy consulting, design, implementation, and optimization of operational processes, business model innovation, as well as security and data protection, including critical infrastructure systems.
In 2020, he was awarded the title of World IoT Leader of the Year by the international community of new technologies. He is the author of the book “SPEED: No Limits in the Digital Era” and has published numerous articles in prestigious technology and business journals. He is also a frequent speaker at numerous conferences worldwide and an active lecturer at prestigious universities, including Stanford University, UT Dallas, SGH, SSoE, Hult Business School. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Global Business at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Moreover, he has participated in many postgraduate programs conducted by Harvard Business School, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, and IMD.
