Krzysztof Ignaczak

One of the most titled and recognizable volleyball players in Poland. People call him an orchestra man. He has made 321 National Team appearances under five coaches and 700 league appearances. With the national team in 2014 he reached for the title of world champion, defeating in the final the team of Brazil. He also won the European Championship and was runner-up in the World Cup.

On his account, there are also titles of the European champion and gold medal winner of the world league. He represented Poland three times during the Olympic Games (Athens, Beijing, London). During his career, he also repeatedly won the Polish Championship title (6) and triumphed in the Polish Cup (3). With Asseco Resovia he played twice in the finals of the Champions League, where he won the silver medal. He won many individual awards. Twice won the title of the best libero of the world league. Over 10 times elected the best libero of the Plus League games. The best receiver of the Olympic Games in London.

These are just a few of the successes that he recorded on his account. After ending his sports career he did not let fans forget about him. He wrote articles for Przegląd Sportowy and cooperated with Polsat television commenting on the league struggles of his former colleagues.

Krzysztof appeared as an expert in Polsat and TVP television programs. Creator of the first video blog showing the backstage of the national team and the program “Szyjemy sport na miarę” in which he engages children in activity and shows how they can spend their time doing sports.

He cooperated with such companies as Norauto, Profiauto, Warta Ubezpieczenia, PKO BP Ubezpieczenia, Dahua Tech, Pruszyński, 3M, Lr Health and beauty, Fuji, Siemens. For the last 3 years, he has been responsible for running the charity ball “Serce bez granic bliźniemu swemu”.

What makes Krzysztof special? He can combine a motivational with a practical panel, where we can come into contact with the environment of athletes and learn about the career of a volleyball player “from behind the scenes”.
