Alena left the corporate structures to follow her passion for supporting women in guiding their careers, lives, and leadership, and to pursue there with confidence, consistency, and clarity. She graduated with honors from Sociology (specialization: Psychosociology) and Human Resource Management. Founder of a coaching and training company in the Netherlands, Empowered For Future. Member of the International Coach Federation. She has nearly 20 years of experience in various industries, both in Poland and the Netherlands, resulting in expertise in coaching, soft training, recruitment, and leadership. She is the master of changes in the way of thinking, the so-called mindset. As a woman who has worked below her qualifications for too long, she knows what it means to feel unfulfilled and underappreciated in her career and personal life.
An author of the comprehensive, popular training program “Academy of Personal Development”. Her portfolio includes training and presentations for companies/organizations such as the Czech Dutch Chamber of Commerce, International Criminal Court, Merck, NetApp, Salesforce, Polish Professional Women Association, InterNations, and many more.
A speaker at many conferences in Europe, including Women in Tech®, European Women in Tech, Women in Technology®, attended by over 4,000 people in Amsterdam, and Women in Technology World Series Online Festival (10,000 participants). She speaks on women empowerment, personal leadership, including building supportive habits, motivation, and mentoring, and broadly understood personal development.
She is awarded a Leader in Leadership Coaching in Poland and a finalist of the Freelancer of the Year 2019 Awards in the Netherlands. For years, she has been serving as a Mentor at the Polaris Foundation in Amsterdam – an international professional network (members from sectors such as banking, insurance, finance, transport, FMCG, etc.), which focuses on the professional development of women, diversity & inclusion.
Alena has lived in the Netherlands for 16 years now. Privately, a happy mother and wife. Passionate about Latin dance, figure skating, hiking, SPA, and good literature. She appreciates spending quality time with family and friends.
