    Krzysztof Rybiński

    Former deputy president of NBP

    • Krzysztof Rybiński – creator of the first in Europe investment fund which strategy assumed the bankruptcy of the PIGS countries. Between 2004 and 2008, he acted as the deputy president of NBP and between 2004 and 2005 he was the representing member of NBP in the Economic and Financial Affairs EU Council.

    • Krzysztof Rybiński graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. In March 2009 he defended his postdoctoral degree at SGH in Warsaw. Between 1991 and 1996, he was the director of Letnia Szkoła Fundacji Sarosa and a researcher at the University of Warsaw.

    • Between 1992 and 1994, he acted as a consultant of the World Bank, and between 2007 and 2008, he represented Poland as alternate governor. From 1997 to 2004, he worked as the main economist in three commercial banks: ING, BZ WBK and BPH. Between 2007 and 2008, he was a member of the Financial Supervisory Authority. From 2008 to 2010, Krzysztof Rybiński was a partner at Ernst & Young Polska.

    • Besides his academic articles and books, he wrote several hundred columns that have been published in Poland and The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and The Economist.
